Privacy Policy

1. Local file processing

Your PDF files are processed entirely in your browser, on your own device. Editing, compression, splitting, merging, redaction, text removal, password encryption and unlocking are performed locally. Your documents, their content and your passwords are never sent to or stored on our servers, and we have no access to them.

The only exception is features expressly identified as server-based, such as conversion to Word: in that case the file is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to an external conversion provider solely to perform the requested operation. We keep no copies of those files.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We require no registration or account. We do not ask for your name, email or payment details to use the tools. We do not sell or rent personal data. We keep no first-party user profiles.

3. Third-party advertising and cookies

The Service is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. To display ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies and process certain data (such as your IP address, device or browsing identifiers) in order to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where applicable.

These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, over which Docuul has no control. We recommend reviewing them.

4. Technical data and browser local storage

The Service may use browser local storage (localStorage) to remember preferences such as language or your working session state. This information stays on your device. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP addresses and server logs) for security and operational purposes.

5. Minors

The Service is not directed to children under the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, GDPR in the EU or CCPA in California), you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection or portability regarding data processed by third parties. Because we keep no accounts and do not store your files, such advertising-related requests should be directed primarily to the relevant providers (for example, Google).

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.

8. Limitation
